Argus C3 - Using for serious work?

Ha, thanks for the compliments! I actually just ran a roll through this bad boy over the weekend and got some really nice results yet again. I know that it's not the easiest camera in the world to use, but there's something that's fun about how primitive it is to me.

chris00nj, this camera has about the same specifications as a Leica M3 on paper. My version is in perfect working order, because I performed a CLA on it myself (something I would never try on a M3). The only thing I can think of that the M3 has (on paper) that the Argus doesn't is a combined VF/RF window. I know, this is a vast over-simplification, but people still use the M3 for very serious work these days. No reason that the Argus can't have a go of it.

Hey, you guys ought to
cut this out...Cameraleather will have to work overtime after everybody starts a run on the Argus C3::D

Beautiful pictures, Raid! I love the how the softness of the light and the fog shows off the best of the Cintar lens!

Thanks. I saw fog one morning, so I picked up the hardly used Argus. The Cintar is excellent for B&W photography. I have the C44 (I think), which is modified to accept lenses.
