Argus Variable Power Viewfinder disassembly?

Hi there. Does anyone have any experience with taking apart an Argus Variable Power Viewfinder? It's the flat-fronted finder with a dial on either side, shown second from the top on this page. Here's a side view of mine; the other side is similar.


I need to open it up to clean the rotating glass elements inside. They've gotten very hazy over the years and really need a good cleaning.

While removing the slotted screws on either side loosens the black plastic body of the finder, I'm not sure how to remove the two dials to actually get it off. I don't see any setscrews. I think the screws are probably under the labels, but I wanted to ask before I go and gouge holes in them. The labels are stuck on very tightly and I haven't had any luck unsticking them.
