All right, it's not hot news, but at least it's now on my site. I'm going to change web page creation programs, though, probably to Dreamweaver. You'll see why when you look at it. Any other recommendations before I spend the money?

Contains nudity and Cam Wilder (not simultaneously!) This year we saw Anglophone and Cam there: next year we hope there'll be more RFF members too. Here it is:

A big disappointment for me Roger!, I had fully intended to be there on the FJ1200, but unfortunately my health is not quite back to that kind of trip yet - the spirit was willing, but the flesh.....! and the poor old Yamaha still languishes in the garage 🙁.......But fingers crossed for next year!🙂
Cheers, Dave.

Fingers crossed indeed -- hope to see you there!

Don't use WYSISWG, spend the money on coding books instead (if you have the time and will).

Dreamweaver is one of the industry standard programs for web design/maintenance, it is a program we have used at our web design company successfully for a number of years, it can be quite daunting to begin with but if used often becomes second nature.

If you need any help or advice drop me a PM and I will try to assist.

For some examples of sites we have done using dreamweaver http://www.3squared.co.uk/Web-Design-Web-Development.aspx

Roger,

Very nice write-up. Of course, some parts I only skimmed, but will go back later.

Regarding the web coding, I can't be of any help on tools, but whatever you do, don't use Flash. Not only is it annoying, but Flash is not supported on the iPhone and Touch. Just my deux centimes ...

Thank you for your write-up Roger. I agree with you summative paragraph. While it wasn't Arles, I do treasure our meeting last summer in Caunes Minervois!

Thank you Roger. Arles is a bit far for me (15,000km) but I'll get there one of these days.

Actually I like the format of your Arles web page. Clear, easy to view, and free of gimmicks.
