Aroma is one of Israel's major coffee bar chains. From the June 8th, Jerusalem Post magazine:

Before opening in The Annex, a trendy community in Toronto just a few blocks north of the downtown core, Aroma staff worked endlessly to ensure that the newest franchise would embrace and replicate the atmosphere, style and quality of food [and coffee] that continues to be Aroma's recipe for success in Israel.

The newest Aroma is near an intersection in downtown Toronto with a Starbuck's, Second Cup and Tim Horton's. Try it; you won't be disappointed.

Mike: Thanks for this! I used to live in the Annex (back when Yorkville was still primarily a hippie community!), and my son lives not far from there now. Next trip to midtown, I will definitely drop in. Did they give an exact address?

Maybe the Toronto crew will decide on Aroma and the Annex for our next gathering.

I love a good coffee. The best coffee houses around here are all indepently owned. Starbucks is so commercial in my opinion. There is a coffee house about 25 miles from here I have been wanting to visit, shoot (with camera) to be politically correct. They have a live mic night on Friday evenings and feature local talent. Good atmosphere I think. Mike maybe you can make your way into an Aroma and post a few pics for us poor unfortunates who will probably never get an opportunity to visit.
 
Peter: Thanks for the address... holy crap! My son and daughter-in-law live @ 366 Lippincott ... we were just there last weekend! Sheesh.
