I went looking for 120 color film today in Mississauga (basically a Toronto suburb with a population of about 800,000), and in the pro section of a major store was only able to locate a few rolls of Ilford HP5. I was told that the only source of C41 rollfilm in the Toronto area would be at Henry's downtown.

I know it is becoming increasingly difficult to be a film Luddite, but I really cannot believe that there is only ONE store selling 120 colour film in a Metro area of about seven million people! Anyone who knows where film can be had around here, please let me know.

It could be worse- a few months ago I was in a large Ritz Camera outlet in the Minneapolis area, asking for rollfilm. They did not know what that was. Then I asked for some fairly ordinary C41 35mm film. They had discontinued film sales. A few weeks later the store was closed.

Cheers,
Dez

Henrys, Vistek, Downtown Camera, Aden, and I'm sure more in TO
There's also Burlington Camera (Burlington) and Camtech (Hamilton)
I usually buy my C41 in 120 at Burlington Camera. They'll ship it out if you need.

While it's not in the Toronto area, B&H photo in NYC stocks a pretty comprehensive selection of both 35mm and 120 emulsions.

It was actually Vistek that I visited, and they had no C41 rollfilm in Mississauga or downtown. I think there were five rolls of HP5 in the store and I bought two of them. Imagine Vistek sending a customer to Henry's?

I hadn't thought of Burlington, though. Thanks for the info.
