Shweddagon Pagoda is not only the most popular pagoda in Yangon, it's the city's main landmark. Hundreds and thousands of locals come here every day to pray, pay respect and also to sit and talk or walk around. This gallery is of photos taken of the Pagoda itself, the many statues and temples within the Pagoda complex, the visitors who visit it and the workers who keep it tidy, and the life in the street leading to the East Gate which is dominated by the Pagoda.
