For RF cameras, I'm definitely a convert to wrist straps. For my TLR, a neck strap still works best... What say you, guys and girls?

I like to have the choice, so I use a neckstrap and wrap it around my wrist 3 times if I want the camera in hand.

I don't have a wrist strap; I'd like to get one and try. Have any of you used a strap that screws into the tripod socket? I've got several cameras that don't have lugs and I positively hate neverready cases, or even half cases.

Op/Tech system on everything. They sell accessory end straps that I put on each camera and then I have 6 or 8 Neoprene straps that I transfer to whatever cameras I'm using (also long teles, binoculars, etc.).

Gordy's original wrist strap on the Canon, but I did just buy a neoprene neck strap for the Rapid Omega. The RO has a built-in "wrist-strap" around the grip, but I figured a comfy neck strap would come in handy because of the size/heft. First time out with it, it only seemed to get in the way. I took it off already.

For my smaller cameras, I like a wrist strap.
For the bigger ones an Op/Tech neck strap(TLR and Arax 60)
I want one or two of Gordy's wrist straps(maybe one more when he gets the tripod mounted style going).

A neck strap. Because I want allways to have my hands free when not holding the camera. I have only one camera with only one eyelet and it´s wrist strap is really unconfortable for me. For this one I use a regular neck strap with ends tied together.
Just got a couple of UPstraps and like them a lot. Some might use it as a neck strap, but for me it's a shoulder strap. Therefore I replied above "none of the above".

I don't use straps at all. I always hold the camera in my right hand, with focus, aperture and shutter speed preset so that I'm always ready for a quick grab shot. I've got a few nice ones this way that I would most certainly have missed had the camera been hanging around my neck or over my shoulder.

"None of the above" for me too. I usually shoot with 2 bodies so the neck straps double up as shoulder straps.

I use neither, like Vincent. I pull the Bessa's advance lever out a bit, and hook my thumb behind it. Beyond that, I just try not to drop it!

I had a neck strap but i used to wrap it around my hands, so it was a wrist one anyway, thee days i'm not using any, but if i was to get some new strap it's gonna be a wrist strap..

I only have neck straps and no-straps. But the neck straps are only used in my neck with a TLR, the rest are shoulder-straps, and sometimes i carry cameras just in my left hand, Can do it for hours without problem. Like kiev, super ikonta.

Sometimes I too carry my camera in one of my hands, but it's a heavy thing (1 kilo) so when I got fed up holding the brick i put it back into its bag.
I use the neck strap while shooting in case I dropped the camera for some reason.

I switched from neck to wrist and then back to neck again in about 2 weeks.
I like the wrist strap, but then I need to carry my bag too, which I don't always want to do. When I go out with just my camera and a few rolls of film in my pocket, it's because I do not want to carry my bag. But if I do anything that requires two hands (like shop or get some food on the go), it's very difficult with a camera in one hand.
So I went back to the long strap, over one shoulder and under the opposite arm, so the camera lies against my left hip rather than my stomach. I leave it long so I can swing it up to my eye. Works great.
Of course, now I have a nice Luigi wrist strap that just sits in a drawer.
