I just looked up Artisan & Artist camera straps. When I tried to buy a strap I was taken to Photo Village. However, Photo Village doesn't have much information about who they are. (No "About Us" tab.) So who is Photo Village and is that a good place to buy Artisan & Artist straps?

Just use the email link on the PV site. They are good, respectable dealers.

I've had nothing but fine dealings with the people at Photo Village, which include a couple of A&A straps as well as an M8.

How did you like the straps? They are expensive but they look great on the web site.I've had nothing but fine dealings with the people at Photo Village, which include a couple of A&A straps as well as an M8.
Your camera would probably look good in your Birkin bag.

I give my thumbs up to Photo Village as well. You can view their entire selection and prices online here: http://pv.benjaminsanders.com/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=4 I'm not sure what's up with the domain name, though. The shopping site I think is still in beta, so it's probably wiser to call them up when you're ready to place your final order. I've always had great service from them via e-mail, phone, and in person.

I believe they are one of the few authorized US dealers. PhotoVillage is sort of a Leica boutique in Manhattan. It's a real store, with gorgeous display cases of modern and vintage Leicas, as well as Voigtlander and Nikon RFs. They sell Canon and Nikon SLRs, Hasselblad, what have you. If you ever have a chance to visit the store, i highly recommend it.
I've been buying from them for nearly ten years, since before they moved to their current location. I bought a great A&A bag last year. Just got my 5DMkII there. Previously, M7s, Leica and CV lenses....
The A&A straps are quite beautiful. I would own several, if only they made them longer....

Nice people at PV, great straps from A&A. I now use no others.

I also purchased the cloth strap fro them and it's my favorite.
Don't like my up strap much because after a while the little nubs hurt my shoulder, but the cloth strap I can use all day.

I use an A&A cloth strap that I purchased from PV over the phone. Great service!
