Asked for advice and I need HELP!

I've had the K10D for just about a week now and it is going back to dad today.
Some thoughts:
Firstly, even though it is a wonderful machine, it's not seducing me away from the RF cameras I love so well.
There is lots about it to like but it just doesn't thrill me the way that my "classic" cameras do.
My biggest gripe about this camera is the left hand side: there is a very nice grip for one's right hand but the left side of the K10D is very small and I didn't find a comfortable place for my left hand.
The auto focus is very fast and you can set the camera to light up the AF point in use. That was pretty neat.
I tried using a couple of my FSU lenses as macro lenses but that was very fiddly and didn't work especially well.
The K mount and M42 screw mount lenses I have did work well once I figured out how to set the camera for them.
I will have to re-size some pictures to share them with you folks--the "best quality" JPEGs are much too big a file to post here as is!
Even though I didn't get my hand cut off, I rejected the dark side and am happily still using my RF cameras!

Anybody want a junk K10D body?
The folks went to Vietnam just before the Thanksgiving holiday. Had a great time. And dad fell into the Mekong river. With the camera. Sent it to Pentax and they sent it back as "unrepairable".
He has since repleced it--he bought another K10D body.
The lenses seem to be OK.
And the photos I've seen of the trip are pretty good; he typically leaves most of the memory cards at the hotel and only has two with him, the one in the camera and one in his pocket. The card in the camera is toast but the other, once dried out, is seemingly OK. He didn't have any trouble getting the photos off of it and then retired that cards.
I didn't ask him if he got the extra replacement warranty with this one.
