I was contemplating on the Bessa III or a Hassy V series for quite some time to replace my RZ which I sold 2 years back. I missed the big negative 6x7 which is my choice vs 6x6. Bessa would be nice as I may have that option but at the end of the day I decided that the flexibility to change lenses is something that I can not compromise. I've handfled a Bessa III for a few minutes courtesy of my friend. The RF/VF is excellent it is very easy to focus with a contrasty patch and quite compact when folded. Last week after reading all available information in the net, I pulled the trigger on a brand new Mamiya 7II with an 80 4.0 lens for a start and it arrived today. It took me a while to check the instruction manual before I mounted the lens and install the battery. The M7 is not something that you can take out of the box and start shooting IMO. Btw, the price I got is way cheaper than a brand new Bessa III and a used mint 503/501. I'm not sure why this is so in Asia????? Well here it is just arrived from the mail.
