Hi All,

There is an auction coming up this weekend with some Leica stuff in it and I can't quite make out the contents to see if it is worth the trip - to me it looks like a Summar/Summitar, two Leica II or III bodies, a 35mm elmar or summaron, and maybe a 50mm Xenon/Summarit. Do you think I'm seeing correctly? Thanks.

looks like 2 leica iiic or iiif cameras postwar , at least the right one is postwar . the lenses are a 50mm elmar 3.5 , think the other on the right camera is perhaps 5cm f2 summitar . the lenses separate are an early 5cm f2 summar and perhaps a komura or other japanese 3,5 cm 3.5 or 2.8 lens . two leica imarect finder and misc bits .

The black lens with the chrome rim at the left looks like a very desirable and somewhat rare Fujinon 5cm f2 lens in LTM.

The black and chrome lens on the left is the most fascinating item. The light coloured case of the left camera is also a bit special.

I think the lens on the left camera is an Elmar 35mm f/3.5 in chrome. The lens on the right camera could be a collapsible Summicron.

Erik.

Yes, I'd really like to know what that lens on the left is. If the OP buys the lot, perhaps we will get an identification and a picture.

Thanks for your replies everyone. Unfortunately, I had too many commitments at work to get over there - who thinks 9 am on a Friday is a good time for an auction?
