Hello all,
I am moving to Australia (Melbourne) next month, I read on here a lot that film photography in Australia is somewhat more unusual than it is here in the UK. In the UK I have my pick of labs for E6/C41/BW in sizes from 35mm to 8x10.
I imagine C41 35mm and perhaps 120 will not be too hard to find, but what about E6 4x5?
I don't mind mailing off film, even to a different state, so long as it's reliable and I get them back OK.
Any thoughts on labs appreciated. I don't rule out developing myself, however:
1) When I first arrive in Australia, I'll have been on vacation for 2 weeks and will have a lot of film to process, I don't want to do it all myself, when I'll be busy with a million other things.
2) Aside from vacations, my volumes are probably not high enough to justify E6, C41, and BW chemistry, and I don't want to settle on just one of those.
Cheers
Garry
