So after seeing more and more excellent pictures on the M240, I finally decided to give in and try out the M240 and got one over last weekend which I promptly spent in HK shooting around.
One thing that got me is the Auto ISO. I set mine to max 3200 and then sometimes when I needed to stop action, I manually selected the shutter (versus A mode). But it seems by default the camera would choose to expose at ISO3200 even though this meant the scene would be overexposed.
I remembered doing similar on the M9 and the results were good. Or perhaps whenever I needed to stop action, the max ISO 1250 was needed on the scene for M9 anyway.
Is this an error or how it works for everyone?

You are correct, there is a lot of clamoring for this, and rumors are that Leica will address it in a firmware update in Jan.
