Autocord Results!

answer number two ;)

the screen is pushed up by a spring, so you have no issue with focusing once you have changed the screen ;)

the original one was nice because very grainy, wich is perfect for focusing, but it was so dark i had trouble in not so low light :)

Hi,
If your strip an Optiper front bezel off you will find that it is marked as a Citizen, well mine is anyway!

Best,

Any Autocords for sale out there?

Any Autocords for sale out there?

I'm looking for an Autocord, so if anyone knows of a good example that's for sale please give me a heads up. I went to the Santa Rosa camera show today, and there were a couple of Autocords for sale, but they were both on the rough side. I did pick up a pristine OM2n with a 35-70mm Zuiko for $90. It had the the #4 hot shoe adapter as an added bonus.

Cheers...

Really lovely photos in this thread. Makes me want an autocord (but not if I have to give up my C330!) And even though I'm a B&W guy, I want to try some Ektar in my TLR now!

Having seen the examples in this thread when the thread was started I was easily convinced that this was the TLR for me. And it is. I find the focussing much more convenient and intuitive than the knob winders on other TLRs, mainly because I found I would be rocking the thing back and forth on my palm trying to focus, guess I couldn't quite grasp the base properly. It's a personal preference. Mine's one of the last ones from 1965 with the newer logo on it, but no meter, which suits me just fine.

Click to view any of these in Flickr, where there are plenty of examples I have uploaded over the past couple of days.

This one ironically enough was taken outside of Konica Minolta's main UK office -- by chance! I didn't realise until I turned around!

It's a fab fab camera. Exposures set by my lil old noggin.

Here are a couple that I just got back last week. All on Kodak Ektar 100.

"Pete's Place" is local hunting camp.

This two tone trailer also is a local hunting camp right next door to "Pete's Place".

Dodge Run flows into Phoenix Run which flows into Pine Creek about 3 miles upstream from the spot I took the next photo.

Brad...all four are winners...nice eye...Ektar 100...I don't have an Autocord but I do have a Yashicamat...right now it's empty...I should find me a roll or two of this Ektar...

I just used the minolta autocord on a trawler

All I have to say is that the controls are very convenient, the camera is tought so don't worry about it, it is builded to last centurys :D

The focusing tab is very useful, much more convenient than the classical system
