Thanks, Vick. I want ana adapter for M lenses to Leica M9 camera. Doable?

Raid, the "principle" might need to be different. The adapter telescopes in and out and the camera must have a shorter back focal distance, to allow it to happen.
The M9 manual lens doesn't have that room, on an M9 body. So, trickier electro-mechanical task. And the M9 doesn't have the autofocus sensing or live view.
Maybe start with an M240

I see, Vick. Who knows, maybe one day I get a version of M240 or who knows which number it will have by then.

So I assume you keep the lens focused at infinity? Finally, a use for infinity lock!
Also that would mean you can use it for close focus too, if you focus the lens at the min distance first.

Because you can use a Noctilux in AF...
But seriously, I don't see a point of keeping any of my longer Sony lenses if this adapter can work quickly and accurately.

Yashica/Contax and Nikon both had adapters to do this many years ago.
