autofocus with M lenses

I don't have a reference as I have no native AF lenses. I rotate three batteries as mirrorless need power anyway

Alright, thanks for the replies. I'm a new A7 owner(after more than 10yrs with nikon), and I am still choosing my first lens(es?) for the alpha. Right now I don't even have a frame of reference compared to my old dslr.

While this af adapter changes things quite abit, I think I'll wait for the next revision and practice more mf for the time being.

Nothing wrong with that. The only native Sony lens I own is the 28-70 kit zoom that came with the body which was almost free for what I paid for the full kit. After several years of experimenting, buying, trying and selling lenses, I have pretty much settled into a comfort zone of LTM rangefinder lenses (primarily Canon with an ad-mixture of Leica, Minolta and FSU) with a sideline of Konica Hexanon SLR lenses for change of pace.

In my personal collection I only have one Leica M lens. What has been great for me is how well the Techart Pro works with intermediate adapters. i.e. LTM lens to LTM/M adapter to Techart Pro
