I recently came into possesion of a Hoya B-30 R (25A) bayonet mount filter, and was not familiar with the numbering convention used on this filter.

Looked on Camerapedia, and that was no help what so ever, but Wikipedia had an explanation that said Rollei uses Bay I thru VIII, and Hasseblad uses Bay 50 thru 104. This still doesn't give me an equivilent to a B-30, so I went to the Hoya site, and all they listed were Bay 50 for older Hassey's, and 60 for newer ones.

So I dug through my box of things I'm planning on getting rid of, and came up with a telephoto for a Yashica TLR to use for size comparison. It was a perfect match.

Now, apparently, Hoya no longer makes this size since it is not listed on their charts. And I have not noticed them when looking at the TLR stuff on eBay. What I am trying to remember is, what is the Bay size for the Yashica line, and what Bay sizes fit what Rollei's?

ps: Been away from TLR's for a long while, so I'll probably be asking a few questions now and then about stuff I can't remember. I started with a 124 G in the early '70s, then had a C330F in the late '80s to early '90s, but never got into Rollei's.

Ya know, Jareiss, I look at that site evry once in a while, and I just come away more confused. I tend to trip over things serindipitously instead of finding what I'm really looking for. But I'll check it anyway. Thanks.
