I think a good way to avoid the PayPal fees is to just send $21 via PayPal, instead of $20. After PayPal takes their 3%, that will leave $20.40 donated. Thats still about the same you'd pay for a $20 MO.

I'd much rather send $21 by paypal than deal with the hassle of finding a place that sells money order, paying the extra few cents or whatever for the money order, paying postage to send the money order, figuring out who to make out the money order to and than the reverse hassle of whoever receives the money order going through gyrations to cash it. Moving money costs money. 3 percent is worth it.

Bryan, you can use PayPal or a money order to contribute. Ray_g has volunteered his account. (thanks Doug) Details to be decided still, just looking for interest right now.

25% complete

Paypal is a nightmare to use from Thailand. Many people come here on holiday only to get their accounts frozen by using them here. I could drop a money order in the mail at the Embassy or something, no problem.

yes, of course you can count me in.. if only to hear Joe rave about how great Zeiss stuff is compared to that Canon junk

If we can get it all arranged for payments ahead of time i bet Tony at popflash would work with us to take multiple payments and ship it directly to Joe. It's an option at least....

Thank you, Tony Rose, both or this offer to help with a purchase for our esteemed moderator, but also for the generous prize for the RFF contest!

But here's an important question: what lens should we get him with the camera? I know that he has beyond plenty of LTM lenses. He did mention that he really likes 35mm right now...
