Back door on M6

Hello folks

Question...

I have two M6s - M6TTL and M6TTL BP. The back door on both M6s flex and make noise when I apply a light pressure to it, especially at Top Right corner. The M6 BP is worse than the M6TTL. I kind of think that it is due to the contacts on the back door acting like a pivot. When I handled my friend's MP the other day, there was no such phenomenon. Its back door was completely flat and there was no flex on it.

Is this phenomenon common with the M6 and some other later models?

It does not affect the function of the cameras (no light leak found) but I hate to hear the noise and feel the flex on the back door.

Is there any way to eliminate the flex?

I should receive a M3 tomorrow. I am anxious to see if its back door does the same..

As far as I know, most every Leica-M back door creaks if you squeeze it. It's a tradition.

Seriously, it's normal.

I had also the same problem on my M6 ttl, but not on my MP...
