Simply looking for suggestions for a decent camera bag for my Canonet. I have a trip coming up and I do not have a bag for it. I do not have a camera shop handy to peruse so if I can order it from B&H, that is even better. Thanks.

Also, finally lost the loose fitting original slip-on lens cap a few weeks ago. Since this takes 48mm filters, a 48mm snap-on cap should work a a replacement, right?

A 48mm snap-on or screw-in filter will work. They are a bit on the scarece side, it has been a while since 48mm was popular.

For a bag, I would suggest a Domke F-803/Safrotto CF700. I have the Safrotto and I use it as a briefcase with a camera (usually a Canonet QL-17) in one of the interior compartments. Works great!

i use a cheap old army surplus bag, home lined with foam (special camera foam, or so the foam lady told me...)

it's low profile, small and has space for 2 FLRF's or 1 and my rolleicord and meter...

I bought a 48 to 49 step up ring and a screw in 49mm cap. That way I can use 48 or 49mm filters, and the cap can always go on,
Keith

Most times I use a med size Zing neopreme bag with the neck strap.
I also use a 52mm step-up ring. I can then use all my SLR filters and caps ~ ; - )
