Bag for laptop and Leica M.

I prefer my Domke F-6 and J-2 bags for my photo gear, but now I need another bag for my laptop also. My camera comes with me everywhere so I have to find a "Domke style" shoulder bag that could fit a MacBook and a one or two M-body setup... Any ideas?

I have used the Safrotto 805 clone (for example 290116211659) and really like it to carry my work laptop and stuff together with my (hobby) M6. Have had it in planes, at customers, etc. and it works great and looks good enough to have in a business meeting.

Are you keeping your laptop inside this main compartment or is there a second compartment in that side that is not visible in those photos ...you know, like in many Domke bags. I would like that my laptop would fit inside the main compartment.

May I ask, what size is your laptop? Does it fit nicely inside Safrotto?

Mot often when I use it as my everyday bag I take out the insert and it comfortably holds my 15inch Macbook pro and the side pockets fit a body with the lens attached. I've had my Zeiss 21/2.8 on there with it's hood and it fit.

I corrected my post, it's an 805 clone, see ebay example 290116211659 (although mine is black). It has a separate compartment for the laptop. The dividers are pretty strong, and so is the rest of the bag that is mostly Canvas.

I have a Thinkpad usually (T43p currently) which is pretty much normal size. It does fit in the bag with a little of additional room.

Thanks again, this is almost perfect bag! Only one thing came to my mind: with these photos I can't see how are those inserts... Is there padding between the laptop and camera compartments? So that I would not have to use a extra pouch for the laptop... I have one Safrotto and I don't like it's inserts...

Yes. It's a big padded chamber and has 4 inserts that attach inside with Velcro. One wide one (like a wall) that separates laptop from the rest, and 3 thin and long ones that attach to one wall of the chamber and the wide insert. Hope I explained that right.

Don't know what size your laptop is, but I often fly with a Domke J-803 satchel, which is just a bit larger than the -803 canvas satchel. Camera gear on the inside, and my notebook (ThinkPad X61) slips into the slot at the back. Easy to slide it out for security checks.

Just a note, my 803 doesn't fit my laptop as well as the A+A bag, I can use it for the same purpose it's just tight...really right.
my macbook might be one of the bigger laptops though.

The Crumpler "Ugly Divorce" is pretty good. It's not sold in the US, AFAIK, I got mine in London.

I know you've ordered, but Domke F-802 satchel, I use the Safrotto clone. Excellent bag.

I have a Crumpler Sophisticator which is now out of production but you could probably still find them on auction sites. It fits a 15" laptop. I use a Tenba insert in the main compartment together with my 13" Dell XPS 1330 in the laptop compartment.
