Hi All,

I have a trip coming up and I'm looking for a bag recommendation. I'd like a shoulder bag and here's what I have to get in it:

Leica M6 with lens mounted
Nikon D40 with 18-55 mounted
Nikon N80 with 50/1.8 mounted
Nikon 70-300VR
Nikon 24-85G
Nikon SB-600
Charger for D40
10 Rolls of Film

I've been looking online till me head spins so any guidance in appreciated.

Take care,

Jim

Bags are awfully hard to compare online -- no really uniform specs, don't know if the dimensions are inside or outside.
A Domke F2 will probably carry all that, but looking through the Domke, Kata and Lowepro web sites will be easier than looking at store ads. Once you decide which is a fit you can shop for price.
An F2-size bag will easily hold more equipment than you want to carry for any length of time.

Just bought myself a Safrotto CF-300, and I'm really happy with the bag. Seems to have equal or better build to its Domke equivalent, and has some features that I've been looking for in the Domkes, like for instance a zipper to close the main compartment. It's cheaper, too. But Leicasniper has a good point above, I definitely don't plan carrying the bag for long periods with all that weight. Should you plan to do that, I'd definitely recommend going for a backpack instead.

Sorry forgot to mention that this will be for transporting/storing the gear. I wouldn't dream of carrying all that stuff at once. I'll take what I need for the day or event and put it in a smaller bag or just sling it over my shoulder.

I use the LowePro Micro Trekker backpacks for transporting equipment to location, they are very comfortable. Micro Trekker 200 I think would carry all that very nicely.
