FP3000B Film has inspired me. As many know, the production ended last year. The last of the stocks are being sold (who knows when it will be sold out). Once it is gone, it will be the last film over 800 iso available (Ilford d3200 is really around 800 iso).

So, in honor of the film, I based a new project around it. The rules are as follows:

1) Only shoot FP3000B with my Mamiya Universal.
2) Only shoot within subway cars and stations.
3) Take the prints, add some double sided tape, and post up the print in the subway (either the station or the cars).
4) Post pictures of the prints on the subway onto the Instagram account - bananaaapeels

FP3000B was made for the subway. It's great for low light. It's Black and White (the subway's halogen bulbs are terrible for color). FP3000B isn't perfect of course. Just a tad over-exposure and the contrast is shot (seems as temperamental as E6). Under exposing I don't mind as much though.

I've posted some of the photos on the Polaroids thread before (and in the Street Photography thread). I'll post some of my favorite below.

If you live in NYC, or visit, I hope one of the prints finds you.

The one with the dog is great

Thanks. I shot that of the dog and his owner and then I shot the man behind him with this one:

I actually always liked the shot of the dog more than I did of the man behind him but I got a better response from this one.

Great photos. But even more important great idea, great way to celebrate this special film.
Bravo!

Many thanks for the kind words.

I felt I was flooding the Polaroid thread earlier so I figured I would just flood my own thread :).
