Barnack's take up spools - two types?

Some spools have a mobile tip.
others are one solid piece of metal.

which are for which cameras?
can they be switched?

The left one is from my Leica I. My Leica II is fitted with exactly the same thing. In one of my Leica II post-war conversions I found the right one. The top is spring loaded. That is an improvement, it is now easier to pull it out of the camera. In the clip (not visible in this picture) there are some small, round openings that form an arrow, so one can control how deep the film is inserted. I guess the right one is post-war.
They can be switched without problems.
