Hi,
I am chasing a lens cap for a Rolleicord V. Anyone knows whether caps for Rolleiflex with Bay I, Rolleiflex T and Yashica TLRs will fit? Do they have the same distance between the lenses and the prongs of the Bay in the same direction?
FYI: It doesn't need to be the most pretty cap you can imagine, I am after the function.

Not much help really but I can confirm that the late plastic lens cap that Yashica sold with the 124G fits (quite tightly) on a Rolleiflex Automat MX-EVS.

Bay I and Yashica caps will fit your Cord. But they could be expensive, especially the Rollei ones.

Any Rollei Bay 1 Lens cap will fit your Rolleicord V.

Hi,
thanks everyone for your replies. So I ordered a lens cap, will see whether it fits once it arrives.
What still confuses me, I read some time ago that there are at least two different viewing-to-taking lens spacings for the f/3.5 models. Does that go together with Bay II vs Bay I?

The difference in spacing only applies to the later Rolleiflex cameras with f/3.5 Planar or Xenotar lenses.

Yes, the f/3.5 Planar and Xenotar cameras all take Bay II.
