California (Bay Area, Northern) Bay Area Beer & Gear?

Saturday Feb. 6 would work for me. I'm w/ Kevin on an alternative venue to Market St. I'm still lobbying for Berkeley (or Oakland?), but here's another suggestion: Fort Mason, Marina, down to Chrissy Field.

Well, if it ends up being saturday in Berkeley, you guys can feel free to stop by Looking Glass and let me know how much fun you had shooting while I was stuck at work... ;-) (since I'll be there till 6pm)

-Brian

I'm in as long as I can take public transportations to the location. I'd rather avoid taking my Triumph when bear and gear are involved, but that's not the case if it's more shooting centered. 😛

Hey KZ, since you were the one to initiate this thread, can you just choose a time and location for the group so we can start figuring out who can make it?

I'm actually out for both the 6th and the 7th now. Ugh... that sucks, but I hope you guys can pick a day and place and have fun!

It's less than a week away. Let's pick a place to get together. If we want something other than downtown lets head to Crissy Field/Fort Mason area. It's a pretty straightforward walk. One or two hours and we'll be at the ocean.
We can walk around and get some shooting done. Afterwards catch a bus to North Beach for food and drinks.

As I started the thread and then drifted away from it, I apologize. 10 AM Crissy Field. We can get acquainted and hike around a bit. If there's rain out don't sweat it -- I don't do much shooting in the rain these days.

If you need to get ahold of me, call me!

(eight three one) five six six - five six six four.

--Brian it was a pleasure meeting you as well. The sekonic works like a charm!

Busy at 4pm? Then we should start early.

Alternatively we could all get brunch together. Start the day with beer and gear! Then continue on the walk, if anyone needs to go we can part ways after our big get together.

Saturday for sure! 2/6/2010. I get to spend my birthday taking photos! AWESOME. Also, if anyone else wants beers *later* I'll be at the Trappist in Oakland with a few friends having some fine Belgian Ales. (There's a bottle of Rochefort 8 with my name on it. *sigh* if only it were Westvleteren)

If anybody wants me to bring an extra camera or two, let me know:

Rolleiflex 3.5F (some close up accessories and filters, shoots 120 roll film)
Toyo 45aII (4x5 ! oooh has a 135mm lens, 40mm focal length on 35mm.)
