BBCode Strikethrough

i just added one for strike-thru just put the s inside the ssqaure brackets

Traceability and 'transparency'. If one changes something without explanation, after others have made postings which may relate to the original text, then the changes make a disconnection in the narrative of the thread, it no longer hangs together coherently. I would consider it to be impolite to posters who have responded to the original, now altered text, at worst it could be construed as 're-writing history', depending on the circumstances.
Accordingly, it may help to avoid the sometimes 'heated' misunderstandings that can arise on forums :).

You may well anyway be right that no-one else would use it on the Rffm, and I would certainly not advocate making it automatic either, both from the point of view of the code writer and of the users.
For obvious availability, it would naturally have a button S with the B, I and U group, which are its 'siblings' in the BBcode syntax. However, I guess that code writers such as MP Guy, who kindly implemented my wish (as well as moderators such as yourself) are volunteers and I would not wish to impose further ;).

Perhaps I am being over-pedantic, but as one of the features of Rffm is the request for, and provision of, technical information, I think it helps to keep the discussion in such a thread coherent. As we know, such discussions can include personal experiences, opinions, unverified 'urban myths' or propagated errors from the 'net, and hard facts. If, for example, I qualify or correct a posting of mine in the light of subsequently posted information, I believe I should acknowledge and make it visible :) .
