True - I only use glasses for driving and watching the TV. My left eye is perfect but I can't stand using it for cameras! I noticed how much clearer the RF patch was with my left eye and decided I had to try to fix it for my preferred right.
I'm guessing that -1 will be three times as close to my prescription as the current situation, so I'm hopeful that I'll notice improvement.

I'm using diopter on Bessa R3A and it's driving me nuts... for street everything is in fast response to the surrounding... with diopter you have to remove your glasses and than use camera... you can't have both eyes opened with wonderful lifesize finder cause it's weird (I would need something like monocle
that would be fun ) ... and when I forget to put glasses on I'm just not observant as with them.... and shooting suffers
I hate contact lenses and can't imagine putting finger in my eye.

Have an M3, no problem with glasses. Get one, you won't regret it!

DAG sells these great lens protectors. You pay a premium and I suggest you get at least two since they can snap, but they do work really well on my M2.

Thanks again for the replies, guys.
One thing I've read in an old photo.net post is that the SS M3s had slightly biffer eyepieces, and thus offered slightly better eye relief for eyeglasses.
Have never heard this and can't find this substantiated. Anyone know anything about this?
I looked again at the DS M3 today and the SS M3 (before hearing this theory) and seem to recall, vaguely, that I may have been able to see the framelines slightly better on the DS. Hard to say.
Don't suppose there's anyone out there with BOTH a DS and a SS M3?
regards,
-Mark

d'oh! Sorry "slightly biffer" = "slightly BIGGER", of course!
