Congrats. The Nokton is an excellent lens overall. Is it the ltm version or M?

Not so fast (not talking about the speed of your fine new lens). This is RFF. Advice on which 50 can never, ever be only one page here. Long after you win the Pullitzer prize with that lens there will be further additions to this thread, just one or two posts and then nearly another page of enthusiastic discussion. Someone will rudely remind us that this thread was started in 2019 and the OP’s decision was made before the bottom of page 1 but we’ll ignore that as unhelpful and not in the spirit of free exchange. Enjoy the new lens.
Coming from strong lf background...I bet mini format is going to be a fun experience for you.

I know ... but these two lenses have a good reputation. They are at a similar price. I am looking for a lens that will be sharp and good microcontrast. And with fantastic image🙂
can you tell mi about 28 mm lens by the way..good enough and inexpensive
Can we ever!
I’d look to match your others in ergonomics, so something with 1/2 click aperture stops rather than the ZM 1/3 clicks. Again, Voigtlander make some nice 28’s, the discontinued f/3.5 or the current f/2 are both excellent choices. 28s however, are generally more expensive than 50s, so it depends what “inexpensive” means to you.
