Should I bring extra film I don' care for when I come, to give away? I noticed I have some fp5 and I might still have some foma 200 around...Can't make those work for me for some reason, if someone's interested I'll bring them along.

Any slow film will do (my Canonet only goes up to 1/500s) ... I'm still experimenting with film. So far I like Ektar 100, Ilford Hp5+ and TMax 400...

tada.
here we go: tomorrow we'll meet at 16:00 at the u-bahn station 'schönleinstraße' in kreuzberg, no precise plans from there on yet, but everyone's most welcome to join us!

I find it a bit strange, that the thread was moved to the travel category, actually it is about who is living in Berlin and local activities...at least I think so. Maybe it would be interesting to have a forum category 'Regional' or something similar? Just a suggestion.

Oh well, some photos from one of the meetings during the weekend. I overdid a bit with the development, as I wanted to salvage some heavily underexposed frames I took later at a party. Three rolls lost as I mistook the M for the X flash socket.
Now to the more pleasent things: Jamerica at Akazienstraße has some good spicy food and the chicken wings seemed to be tasty also, not to speak of the friendly host.

Ah you did get a few pics out of the rolls anyway, great
I recommend a Holga 120 FCN for successful flash photography

Thank you for the kind recommendation, Toni. Actually I have been considering it, but I would rather prefer the Holga 120N with the flash hot shoe. This is giving much more flexibility as it allows for the usage of a handheld flash unit. A 'color splash' could be added easily with differently colored translucent papers.

I might show on the weekend, maybe the one after - not sure yet. But Berlin would be nice right now, the city easiest to bear in this weather.
The pictures look like it was fun, interesting place.

that's her boyfriend's M4, she shoots an M6. it's her lens on the M4, a 40mm f1.4. she's a rather good 'concept' photographer, especially for 'quiet' subjects and landscapes. check out her norway and iceland stuff: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dorosblack/
I went to school with these two for 7 years
