Yep, that's pretty normal. Normally, it will straighten out, when the film is dry. At the moment I have 3 rolls drying and one 120 roll in the tank. Unfortunately I could not resist to give the Ascorbic-Acid - Baking Soda formula a last chance, but well, I guess I messed it up (Don't do that at home). We will see, we will see.

The 120 is developed with just a pinch of KBr to check if it consistently helps with preventing uneven stand development.

What I find interesting is, that even if two photographers are taking the same scene, often the final photographs are looking completely different. I am curious about yours.
 
Well, it's official, my Black and White photography SUCKS!!! Blown out! Always blown out.

I don't know. I think it was the developing again. I do not think that Kodak and Tetenal get along very well. And I think I developed too long. I followed the instructions, but I think it was too long.

Need to work on my Black and White. And the M4 might need a CLA. Many pictures had the notches at the bottom of the frames.

Maybe the scanner? I did no touch-up, and I set the scanner to adjust nothing -- only to scan. But there is so much grain also, I'm sure it is my developing.

Those are wonderful! How much editing do you do on the scan to make it look like the actual foto? In other words, how far off is your scanner from the real film?

only very minor edits in tone / contrast, the negatives look pretty much like that. nice and contrasty with soft gradations.

and sorry, no facebook for me, I dislike that website 😉

Sorry to see that. Maybe adjusting the blackpoint while scanning can save some things.

How do your negatives look like? Are they very dark? If yes, looks like heavy overexposure or overdevelopment.

Can you scan two frames, so that the space inbetween is completly black?
