Just dropped three grand on studio gear, and gained one light, some modifiers, two stands, and a PW transceiver. Talk about a slippery slope of the scary kind.
I definitely consider this kit incomplete...

What I need, is that one day, after I threw the Leica and the Voigtlander in the same bag and shook it around a bit, out came a Leilander..
Most silent shutter (L), sweetest viewfinder (L), best film loading (CV), exposure meter (CV), and feel (CV)...
Of course with my luck, I'll probably end up with a Voigtca..

My cup runneth amok.
Another four-blade easel ( I want to keep one set up for Ilford postcards), a *glass* negative-carrier enlarger that stays aligned, and a decent waterproof stopwatch for timing print development.

Nothing material. Please, no more stuff ...

My wishlist...
2 Gitzo carbon fiber tripods - one big and one small
Darkroom with condenser and diffuser enlargers, in my basement
Some robots to scan and proof my negatives

I really want a 39mm rubber hood...heck of a time finding one. And my portable victrola needs a new mainspring. If anybody knows anybody in the Philly area for help with that...lemme know! (hmmm...maybe a clockmaker?)

The Watson (or clones) should not scratch film, if you use concentric cassettes.

I need to buy a new film scanner. My Canon FS4000US seems to have died. Too bad, it was a great scanner. I am considering a Nikon Coolscan V ED or 5000 ED. The latter would kill my photo budget for a couple of years.

Isn't the Fuji C-41 BW film made by Ilford (XP2)?rbiemer said:Film--I have my basic needs sorted but there are a few I'd like to be able to try, specifically Fuji is/was(?) making a C-41 BW film that seems to be home market only.

Could be, I don't know. i like Fuji BW film in general and I also like the C41 BW film I've used(Kodak and Ilford) and would like another choice.biomed said:Isn't the Fuji C-41 BW film made by Ilford (XP2)?

I need a better camerabag to carry all my stuff. Something that would take my OM-2, two lenses, flash and film. It would be nice to carry my notebook and pen with me too. Oh, better keep looking.

you can never have enough camera bags, but i'd really like a coolscan 5000, although i'd settle for a coolscan v. i have a couple of light meters, but probably another one couldn't hurt, a refurb'd weston maybe. oh, and one of those old leitz tabletop tripods with the long head that you can chest mount.

I voted "other" - what I need is FILM! FILM! FILM!
Other: the time to shoot, the good health to enjoy it, and the new V8 BMW M3 to get me to the photo ops.
