This has been discussed to death. Regarding digital, the director has stated repeatedly that he doesn't like digital and doesn't want to go into the mess of the digital camera market. In the past, the one time they did it was within a joint venture with the partner taking care of the electronics, but that wasn't a commercial success. It seems that the digital Bessa is a pipe dream that we can forget.
With respect to analog bodies, I don't think one can expect more than another kind of incremental update:
Bessa L: Base body
Bessa R: L plus view/rangefinder
Bessa T: L plus M-mount/rangefinder
Bessa R2: Combined changes from R and T
Bessa R2A: R2 with aperture automatic
Bessa R2M: Slightly redesigned version of M with manual shutter
Bessa R3 series: R2 series with slightly different viewfinder
Bessa R4 series: R2 series with slightly different viewfinder
I wouldn't expect much more than incremental updates here. Certainly no full body redesign - basically all Bessas have been based on an oldish off-the-shelf SLR body of which Cosina has sold millions. Maybe a couple of limited editions in different colours for the collectors, but that's about all there is. TTL flash maybe, but even that would be stretching it.
