Back from my trip to Kyrgyzstan which I did with my GF670 & Konica Hexar AF. Outstanding camera, even in the cold. I may have banged it a couple of times while moving around, but it still seems ok. (cross fingers)

Great to see these as well their brethren in the Hexar thread, B. The GF is my travel MF choice, but my little companion would probably be the GR. I'm just not as consistent with my Hexar AF.

Thank you Robert. The GF's strength is really the portability and the ability to swop between 66 & 67 formats. If they could solve the need to remove the filter while closing the camera, it would be fantastic! I bought a yellow filter for this trip, and I never once used it!
A few more shots from this series. Both on Acros 100 with DDX.

yeah that's the only con that I can think of the GF670, I have the clip-on hood with ND filter on it, I also have a 58mm orange filter to screw on when I really need to but most of the time I rather shoot with no filters.
still love the camera for travel, my favorite MF camera

Benji,
I agree with you on this and as a get around, I bought 2 hoods and a small waist pouch to hold both of them. One hood has a ND screwed on and the other has either a Yellow or Orange, depending on the situation. Effectively, the hoods serve as a quick clip on solution. Something for you to consider.
Cheers,

@R.F.F
Yeah I did consider that too. Just that the cost of the hood (personally to me) would be better spent on a stack of film

So they're discontinuing the GF670 now, apparently. I hope mine lasts forever.
