I like my Bessa L; it's small, light and ideal for use with the 15mm and the 25mm.
I don't see much point in putting anything longer on, because it's the focus free use that appeals to me.

Awkward! Simpler to use that lens on an m42 body, no?
Certainly can be done, but only makes sense if you have no m42 or K mount body.
Thanks Frank, I've plenty of old Pentax bodies and lenses. The issue is I just can't afford the asking price of a Voigty wide angle........and the SMC 50mm is such a nice piece of glass

Wide RF lenses are dear. Cheapest way to make the Bessa L work may be with a Jupiter 12 35mm ltm lens or with an SLR wide angle lens and adaptor, and scale focus it.

I know they give the appearance of expensive but I managed to pick up both the 15 and 25, with viewfinders, for less than my Sigma 10-20. That is the sort of bang to buck ratio I appreciate!

I dig it! Certainly not the fastest focusing or most practical tool, but if you have most of the parts lying around and can put it all together with a simple adapter. Why not give it a try?
