Hi everyone. I have a weird question about my L. It's new to me and I took it out on it;s first run a couple of weekends ago. I rode the subway and some stupid kid ran smack dab into me while we were waiting for the train. He hit the L and knocked the lens cap to the floor. I just picked it up and put it back while giving him the stare down (by kid I meen 22~25 years old). Anyway when I got home after looking at it it seemes to me that the cap used to screw on and now it slips on with some felt on the inside. Is my memory going??? Does this cap screw on or slide on? If it is screw on then the threds were ripped from the cap while this happened. If not and it does slide on then my memory is worse than I thought :-(
