Very nice!
The seller threw in 3 rolls of Superia plus half a roll of t-max that was loaded in the camera. No idea what I'll do with the little pelican case that it's in.
I have to wonder about that sort of thing. Did he wake up one day and decide he'd gone all digital...or just quit photography...and not even bother to develop that last roll?
Anyway, I like the feel of the thing, better than the R really. I do wish the meter actuated with a touch of the shutter without requiring the advance lever to be forward.

You will love the camera & lens. You'll see things in a new way. I also think it handles better than the R (I own both & use the L three times more frequently).
Hold onto the Pelican case, it might come in handy some day.
Maybe the seller forgot the film was in the camera? You might want to find out if he or she wants it back

Hey Steve! Congratulations! The L is a great little camera. Very unassuming, but quite functional.
As for removing the shutter lock...I know I've seen instructions online as to how to do that. I don't have it bookmarked, but I know people have done it. You might want to do a Google search and see if you can find anything.
Good luck either way! Have fun.

Confirmed RF addict...
Looking forward to seeing some shots Steve! I like the L/15 combo as well, but it does take some getting used to. I caught my fingers in nearly every frame of an early roll... You will soon learn to get them out of the way & assume that the finder doesn't cover the whole frame unless your eye is centered & pretty close to it. Here is one of my first shots...

Just remember to take care of your fingers
. It's a real gem and stopped down you don't have to think about sharpness. This is the result I like most at the moment.

Nice examples guys.
I snapped a few of one son while waiting for the other in gymnastics tonight.
It's different shooting this wide with an viewfinder rather than a SLR. I'm pretty sure I'll catch more body parts with this set up.
I'll get used to it.
110deg fov is a very fun toy.

Congratulations, a great combo there. I use mine with the 15, 21 and 28 Skopar. Great camera. I just got used to the shutter lock, not a problem for me.

I hate the shutter lock - I keep forgetting about it until I try to fire the shutter (and I now also have a Bessa-R without shutter lock, so it's inconsistent and even harder to get used to). I keep thinking of cutting off the little stop tab, but I'm not sure of the best tool for the job. Anyone here done it?If you don't like the shutter stop snip it off!
