Hi all!

I've done a few unsuccessful searches and figured I'd just post the question...

Do any users here use the 28mm color skopar on the Bessa R and utilize the edges of the viewfinder itself as the framelines? If so how accurate is this method?

Thanks,
Kevin

I have this combo and use it frequently. How accurate is it? I hae the v/f also and use it too when I know most of the shot will be at infinity. I really never had problems with the full rangefinder but I prefer the v/f most of the time. I don't see much difference. The greatest difference in when you focus less than infinity, there is a bit of parallax I try to avoid. Also it is easier for me to make sure the lines are parallel with the v/f. Look at my gallery and you'll see some of this lens.:)

Yup, I use this combo. I also use the external VF but on my Bessa L. The full frame is close to 28mm on the R but as has already been said care should be taken with close up shots for parallax error.

I use this combo too .
I've started using the full frame from the camera finder, but it didn't give good results .
Now I use a russian turret viewfinder and it's fine
