Bessa R blind spot

I recently discovered my newly-purchased Bessa R has a metering blind spot. When I set the ASA at 200 or above and the shutter speed at one-half or one second, the meter registers a constant minus. Even if I point it at the sun. When I set the ASA at 100 or below, the problem doesn't occur. Anybody else encounter this?

That is I think normal -your going beyond the EV sensitivity of the meter. It's most annoying with 3200 asa in low light

Extremely annoying at that point. I got used to it, though.
