Hey!

Got my first rangefinder, the Bessa R2A with the CV 35mm f/1.4. I'm now scanning my first roll of film and almost every shot is way out of focus. Even the ones i am sure can't be focused THAT wrong.

I guess the rangefinder needs some adjustments: Can i do that by myself? If yes, how? 😕

if EVERY shot is out of focus I'd be tempted to say that it's your scanner that's out of focus, or your film is not held flat while scanning... is EVERYTHING out of focus in the shot or are there areas that are sharp, just not the ones you intended?

I found f1.4 to be tricky when I first started with the same body/lens combo as you did... it's not like an AF slr that will nail focus easily... it took some practice.

The R/F adjustment is under the accessory shoe. However, before you take the camera apart, you might like to see if a distant object aligns when the mounted lens is at infinity. But it may only be the scanner or the scanning...
