Bessa R2A rewind knob

Here is what happened today:

Any ideas where to get the spare one? Checked on ebay, nothing... I assume that is not something one could repair? Is it compatible with some other brands/cameras?

Ha. I broke the knob off of my R2's rewind lever and I thought the R2x would have a better design - I guess not?

try to contact Voigtlander/Cosina for a replacement?

I could probably make you a replacement but I've already got alot of projects on the go...

I guess design is ok, it's the quality of the metal... Well, will keep looking...

yup, mine snapped exactly the same way...sent it out to S. Gandy for a fix....

Sad story. Maybe keep an eye on eBay on camera parts and stuff, sometimes a substitute from other cameras or even other machine can just be found and used.
I hope the one on my R stays strong.

OK, I went for a quick and ugly fix (temporarily) , but it is functional!. I just need to find a black handle that will look nice, but I don't need tho whole knob replaced...
