Has anyone experienced horizontal or vertical viewfinder misalignment in their Bessa rangefinder?
Seems my vertical alignment is a bit out and i found this reference on the web of how to adjust it.
Has anyone tried this method with success?

Done it tonight and the other night.
Seems to work fine.
Had a slight scare (thread below) but no harm done!
Only thing I found was that since the screw is at an angle it was a bit awkward.

Thanks for the quick reply Mabster.
Curious how you ensured it was calibrated? Did you focus the lens to infinity and recalibrate?

The vertical alignment doesn't affect focusing calibration. So as long as the verticals match, its "aligned".

I did it the other night hand held focusing on street lights on a different island. Not the best way to do it though.
I noticed tonight that when focusing on stars it was off the tiniest amount.
Came home and adjusted it through my bedroom window looking at the moon, stars and various street lights etc.
Forgot to mention that this was horizontal adjustment first.
I then adjusted the vertical using the moon as a guide and checked various things inside my room.
To check close focusing I laid out a tape measure with objects at 1m, 1.2 and 1.5. The middle of the camera base was set on the 0 mark as I believe the distance is not from the lens but from the centre point.
Seems pretty close to me. On the distance marker I mat be .5mm-1mm off the markers.
I wont truly know how it's come out until I get a roll or two through though.
