The shutter and film advance on my Bessa-T went, and I sent it in for repair about 11 weeks ago. Well, I got it back yesterday and it works perfectly again. It was a garantee job, so cost me no money 🙂

But the accompanying repair letter was nothing short of amazing..

Apart from the repair of the shutter and the mechanism, it claimed they also did the... (drum roll..).. 'MIRRORBOX' 😀

And no, that wasn't a mix up, because all the rest of the repair letter matched the camera in question to the minutest detail..

Anyone else have a mirrorbox fixed on his/her RF?

Keep in mind that it is unlikly that you camera was fixed in the US or europe. So Mirrorbox was probably how a rangefinder was described to who ever wrote that letter.

Fixed in the Netherlands. Repair letter was written in Dutch..

You lucky man! You now have the only Bessa T SLR in the world! Andf it poses as a rangefinder. Well, as long as all works out it is fine, right?

Seriously, I guess they had a look at the rangefinder system. What is the big deal, prism or mirror?
