Bessa-T rangefinder adjustment

The rangefinder of my Bessa-T is slightly out of alignment vertically and at infinity. My first reaction was to follow all the Bessa-R adjustment guides, and to my surprise, under the hotshoe covering, there is not opening to adjust the rangefinder! Does this mean I need to open up the top cover for the camera to get to the adjusting screws? How do I remove the film advance lever?

RF alignment is behind the chrome screw on the back of the T, below the left meter led.
Vertical is by turning the bezel inside the rangefinder window I think.
