Best developer for 5 rolls of delta 400 I exposed 3 years ago

This never happens to me, except now. I just found 4 rolls of Delta 400 120 I exposed 2 1/2 years ago in the back of a closet. the film was always in the dark, and never in a hot room. What would be the best developer for the film? I normally use XTOL or D-76. Anybody ever have a similar situation?

Just process it normally in whatever you use. If you rated it at 400, D-76 is a good choice. It may have a little extra base fog from sitting for 2.5 years, but you can compensate for that in printing.

4 rolls of Delta 400...what was in this closet that you would shoot 4 rolls...

I have 40 rolls of Tmax 400 (ex 2001, but been in fridge from day 1)
I just finished off one roll today...I think I'll try it in Rodinal...😀

Three years is not sooooo long so, as suggested in post-#2, try the normal time and developer that you would generally use.

Of course, develop one film and dry it (so that you can check the results) before developing the rest - just in case.

I agree - process as you would for a "freshly exposed" roll.

I really like Delta 100 with D76, but I haven't been as happy with Delta 400 with it.
Given my combination of right/wrong things that I do, I like Delta 400 with DD-X much better.
