Best Flatbed Scanner for Photos

I have a film scanner, so I do not need a flatbed that has a transparency capability. I just want it for scanning important family photographs. I see alot between $100-$150 range that is in my budget. I am using MAC OSX Tiger and Leopard. So which are my best choices that will give excellent reproduction of photos with excellent resolutions.

Given your budget, your selection is very limited. Are you in the USA? If so, find the Epson USA web page. Go to the Clearance Center. Buy a refurbished scanner.

Or send me $100 plus shipping and I will send you a very low mileage HP scanner that does well with prints, has a 50 page document feeder and will scan 35mm film and slides.
