Not quite. The British have dabbled in the Leica knockoff business just as the Italians, the French, the Soviets, the Japanese, the Chinese and others did. You can find more about the Reid cameras here and in several posts on this forum.
And no, I don't think Sean is related to that particular venture. 😉
