We all know that the classic film era put out many design icons, such as the Nikon F and Leica M, but in your opinion which af cameras do you find classic?

My pics are the original eos-1 and maxxum 7000/8000i - super sleek, low profile, big grip that many designs have followed

Contax n1 if you asked me.
Kept all the analog controls and dials yet with very smooth muscular lines and an awesome grip.
Only a few primes though including a planar f1.4/50mm and f1.4/85mm.
It's too bad They never got around to a Distagon 28 and 35 before ending production.

Those Pentaxes are underrated - did they come in black?

They do. I own a black MZ-3 which has the best control layout of its generation...sadly it doesn't come with an AF assistant lamp, as the AF performance itself is subpar.

Still, that interface is so nice that, larger Pentax cameras (The Pentax 645N, N II and Pentax 67 II) from the same period did it justice by sharing the same design trait.

This camera has surprisingly little exposure on the web. It's rather biggish, but it handles fantastically, and the lenses are great.

Yes, I wish there were more smaller primes, but the lenses it does offer are all fantastic.

It's the 35mm version of the 645!

AF and looks nice. Nothing is protruding. :)

Here is no nice looking AF SLRs, IMO.
