best m8 settings when shooting dng and jpg

Where do you set your camera, please post photos showing results

Such settings are of no use if you shoot dng. Jpg is another story but i don't have a clue here sorry.

I'm using everything medium except for saturation which I set at one rank below medium.

As simple as that
On DNG you have everything that you can play later if your exposure is correct.

The JPG settings do not affect DNG (are greyed out when shooting DNG only.)

It is best to shoot DNG, and then you export jpg files as you want. This gives you the freedom to try out different jpg file manipulations afterwards.

I'm a JPG guy. But still shoot with DNG too, just in case.

Colour, I add one increment so the M8 JPG colours a little brighter. And I like to shoot and chimp in B&W too. B&W I add one extra amount of contrast, in camera. I always use a uv/ir filter...I like them.

I leave sharpening at default, and usually add a pinch in post processing...depends how much for Web or Printing.

I have the DNG's if I need to "deep process" in LR and PS.
