"Story is, a jet-lagged Aussie photographer on a workshop with Mary Ellen Mark was taken to a crazy Mexican town called St. Martin Tilcajete where the young men - for reasons still not comprehendable by me - prance around dressed like this guy waving bones and rattles and covered head to toe in motor grease. Due to the jet-lag it probably all seemed a lot more normal than it really is. Anyway, thing is to avoid being greased by them and I found that a beer or two helped the whole process and all round it was a sensational day!"
